Context.ai is SOC 2 Type II Certified
We're proud to announce this major vote of confidence in Context.ai's commitment to user privacy and security.
Protecting our users’ data has always been a top priority at Context.ai. Enterprises and startups alike trust us to securely manage conversation transcripts and other sensitive information. That’s a responsibility we take seriously.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Context.ai is officially SOC 2 Type II certified.
What is SOC 2 compliance?
SOC 2 is a security framework by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The framework includes five Trust Services Criteria:
- Security
- Availability
- Processing integrity
- Confidentiality
- Privacy
To achieve certification of compliance, companies need to pass an examination by an independent auditor. The audit goes in depth on each of the above criteria, covering a company’s software infrastructure, data policies, and much more.
SOC 2 compliance comes in two forms. Type I compliance denotes that a company meets a particular standard at a particular point in time. Context.ai earned this certification earlier this year.
Type II compliance holds companies to an even higher standard than Type I. To earn this certification, a company must demonstrate sustained compliance over an extended period of time. Since security is an ongoing effort, companies need to get recertified annually.
Conclusion
We see our SOC 2 Type II certification as an affirmation of our consistent commitment to security and user privacy. Security and privacy will always remain at the forefront of our work at Context.ai, and we’re always receptive to feedback on what else we can do to provide a stellar experience for our customers.
